The pre-export inspections are mandatory prior to exporting the vehicle for some countries. Please visit the appropriate government authorities in your country to obtain all required pre-export inspections lists. References to these authorities can be found in our FAQ section “Country Regulations”. While many countries in the past have not enforced this regulation, it has been reported that they are beginning to impose large fines for violations. Please make sure that the condition of your purchase is inspection inclusive if there is such mandatory by your country’s government.

Primarily, we accept payment in U.S. dollars. However, under certain circumstances, Japanese yen is also accepted. No other currencies are accepted.

Please note that all payments must be in the form of a bank remittance so that the buyer and seller have official written record of the payment transaction. Under no circumstances do we accept any form of cash.

Please allow a minimum of three (3) business days for your bank remittance to be acknowledged in our bank account. While this delay may cause some inconvenience, it is the average amount of time required for the interbank transactions.

You, as an importer, are supposed to receive the following documents:

• Bill of Lading (B/L)
• Insurance Document (if your purchase is CIF)
• Export Certificate (also called the “Deregistration Certificate” or “Cancellation of Registration” form)
• Commercial Invoice

If your government requires, we will also send you the following:

• Inspection Certificate
• Export Permit (also called the “Bill of Entry”)

This is the address where you want us to mail all of your documents, including your B/L, via DHL courier. Please provide us the full recipient name, the complete address without any abbreviations, and the telephone number(s). Please also be informed that the incomplete information may delay the dispatch of your documents

The consignee is the person who will be owner, “owner-to-be”, of the vehicle. Please provide the full name of the consignee exactly the same as the full name shown on his/her passport or ID, the whole complete address without any abbreviations, and the telephone number(s).

It is also very important to understand the following when providing us all of your booking information:

• Your booking will be delayed by the shipping company if the full name and complete address of the consignee are not provided. Only full and complete information must be provided.
• The name of the consignee cannot have any spelling mistakes at all. Even the smallest error can be subjected to a B/L amendment, which may cost you the additional fees and time.

Regardless of any reasons, we are very sorry that we absolutely cannot alter the information on the B/L or any other documents that we provide you since it is illegal.

Notify Party is the person whom the shipping agent will contact in order to notify the confirmed arrival date of your vessel. If you have a private clearing agent, you may list them here although it is not mandatory for you to declare a clearing agent on the B/L. If you do not have any clearing agents, please simply write “Same as Consignee”.

Yes, you can. Once your documents are processed for dispatch, the DHL tracking number will be listed on your VAP page. If you click on this tracking number on your VAP page, it will change to a DHL tracking log.
